Jacquie brings to each assignment more than 20 years experience in public involvement, community development, capacity building, training and organizational change. An expert in deliberative dialogue, she has won major awards for her work in public engagement and is a frequent presenter at conferences and training seminars.
As One World’s CEO and senior facilitator, Jacquie designs and manages complex consultation and dialogue initiatives. These have ranged from a national citizen consultation on the Use of Placebos in Clinical Trials to a stakeholder consultation on a National Disaster Mitigation Strategy. She has worked extensively with groups in the health sector, including Health Canada, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and non-profit health groups. As well, she has extensive knowledge of voluntary sector issues.
A highly respected facilitator and trainer, Jacquie has led more than 30 training workshops in deliberative dialogue across Canada, and designed and delivered courses in public engagement and consultation. She is qualified as a facilitator and project manager with the Federal Government under two supply arrangements.
She is bilingual and holds Master’s Degrees in Management and Environmental Psychology.
